Sand Hollow/Sand Mountain Mesa
Sand Mountain/Sand Hollow Reservoir:
Sand Mountain is an excellent riding area, and becoming a hot spot for off road adventure enthusiast. It is conveniently located a quick 15 minutes away, and can be accessed by UTV directly from our shop. No trailering necessary. This area has a variety of terrain, including red rock, desert trails, washes and SAND DUNES. The changing elevations create amazing vistas and photo opportunities of Sand Hollow Reservoir, desert plateaus, rock formations and an amazing 1000′ drop to Warner Valley from the top of the mesa.
Toquerville Falls
Toquerville Falls:
Toquerville Falls is located at approximately 3,800 feet elevation and is an excellent destination to break away from the desert heat and get wet. Zion National Park and the colorful canyons of Smith Mesa can be seen as you ascend toward the falls. The falls themselves present a great photo opportunity. Before descending back down the canyon, a short climb to the top of the Black Ridge provides amazing views of the Pine Valley Mountains. Depending on ability, one can ride along the Toquerville creek bottom and locate beautiful cliff walls and vegetation. This ride is not recommended if there has been recent rain and there is threat of flash flooding, high clearance and 4 wheel drive is highly recommended.
Red Cliffs/Sandstone Mountain
Red Cliffs/Sandstone Mountain:
This route is amazing and can be ridden in conjunction with Toquerville Falls. The Red Cliffs area is provides great trail riding, beautiful desert landscapes, red rock ridges and mountains, and the Virgin River at the old ghost town of Babylon with Indian Petroglyphs along the way. Need to stretch your legs? Red Cliffs Desert Reserve also has excellent hiking.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes
Coral Pink Sand Dunes:
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is approximately one hour away from Hurricane, Utah. At an elevation of 6000 feet the days are cooler and the summer nights are very nice. We rent trailers for $15 per day to take our UTV’s to the park. The park offers 1,000 acres of riding area and there are hundreds of miles of additional trails surrounding the park, which include The Mail Drop, The Barracks, Broad Hollow and the Yellow Jacket Trail. For the experienced rider the Pahrunaweap Canyon ride is outstanding. If you are not skilled in finding your way on these trips ask about our guide service.
